I'm a Washington native, raised on the Sammamish Plateau and one of four siblings. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Cultural Ethnic Studies from Washington State University. My wife, Jenna is a Special Educator in the Shoreline Public Schools, and we have two young sons.

I'm passionate about finance, driven by the fact that I didn’t grow up with a formal background in the subject—and recognizing that most people aren’t taught the basics in school. That gap has motivated me to learn as much as I can and share that knowledge with others.

I also have a strong interest in permaculture and urban homesteading, which aligns with my love for gardening and sustainable living. When I'm not spending time with family and friends, I enjoy working out, tending to our garden, and watching sports.
